To relieve the pressure placed by a rapidly increasing health conscious consumers market on Producers, we intend a paradigm shift towards softer crop protection products, which are to be supplied cost effectively by present support structures.
Background
The company initially started in 1959 by an INDIAN (NRI) Dr. J.G Patil in a garage in Stellenbosch with two fungicides a pesticide, one biological product and a sterilant manufacturing equipment consisted of four 200 litter plastic drums and a double barrel washing machine. Soon the demand for organic pesticides forced the company to a small building at the AECI complex in Somerset West. After one season this building became too small because of the growing demand in organic pesticides and the company moved to a larger building on the same complex.At present the company has twenty four products consisting of fungicides, pesticides, weed-killers and adjuvant. Products are formulated and manufactured for the particular needs of South African agricultural scenarios. Situated in the Western Cape Reliance Agro Chemicals is in close proximity of most crops grown countrywide.
Recently the company was restructured and obtained skilful and experienced management and an energetic marketing agent, when Kallie Troskie and Hans Klink joined the company. Dedicated administrative and production staff further ensure smooth functioning of the company.

The Company has its history stretching way back to 1959 when an INDIAN (NRI) Dr. J.G. Patil started Reliance Agro Chemicals in South Africa and in 2006 he plan to establish the company in INDIA and he choose Amrawati for manufacturing and Jabalpur for sales and marketing.

Reliance Agro Chemicals is privately held company promoted by Dr. J.G Patil(MD) and leading by Aryan Patel(Director) with present turn over around 660 million USD in South Africa.

It's a Trademark Register company. The Activities of the company are spread over two locations (Unit) – at Amrawati MIDC.

Safety Standards


We at our various formulation facilities take the following measures and/or precaution for the safety and G.M.P:
· We have all the flameproof Electrical Installations at our Plants.
· We also have different flameproof Electric Motors for various Pumps and Machinery.
· We have round the clock (24/7) security services at all our Plants.
· We are providing different safety equipment to our workers such as Helmet, Industrial Shoes, Safety Eye-Goggles, Safety Hand Gloves, Industrial Mask etc. to name a few and making it compulsory for the workers to use.
· We have printed all the safety guidelines at the main work place in the Plant in vernacular language.
· We have the advantage of MIDC approved Chemical Complex; hence the ambulance and/or fire fighting van in available at half a kilometer distance from our factory.
· We have kept Cease-Fire (easy to operate) fire fighting extinguisher for A,B,C,E class of fire at prominent places in the Plant.
· We take the benefit of E.S.I.C (Employee Service Insurance scheme) for all workers working at our premises.
· We undertake regular medical check-ups of all our permanent workers.
· We have also appointed a local doctor available (24 hours) within one-kilometer distance and advantage of JEHANGIR hospital at Bund garden only for emergency treatments.
· We have provided necessary ventilation and exhaust fans at different places in the Plant.
· We have kept Safety Education posters at different places in our Plant.
· We have kept Eye Washer (connected with 24 hr Water supply Pipeline) for emergency washing or any spillage in eye.
· We have Water supply Pipeline around the factory shed.
· We have kept necessary medicines and Injections in the refrigerator of laboratory at our factory.
· With the help of factory Inspector we are arranged three-day seminar on Safety and handling of solvent, Pesticides and toxic chemicals once in a year.
· We are sponsoring two candidates every years for medical camp including Emergency treatment camp (which is organized by National Safety Council and Factory Inspectorate)
· We are providing separate mesh room to the workers.
· These are some of the measures/precautions that we have been taking and we keep on adding the list with our growth. Fortunately, we have not faced any such problem till date and are keeping ourselves ready for any unforeseen circumstances.

QC Laboratory

Reliance Agro Chemicals follows all BIS Standard for Manufactured Product Quality. Using GLC,TLC,UV and Other Quality assurance Equipment we provide best quality to our customer as well as end user.By strictly following quality standards for our Principles we are continuously getting contract renewal from South Africa and Fertilizers & Chemicals, Bio-State India.

We have fully computerized laboratory with Gas Chromatography.

The products are under strict quality control by the ministry of agriculture and BIS (Bureau of Indian Standard). Due to our one of the major strength " QUALITY " - multinational and world leaders like Ciba and Hoechst equivalent products.

Production Lines
BIO product Liquid Formulation Packaging is done using Automatic filling and packing line.Capacity of Packing line = 8000 Units/Shift (8 Hours)

Future Plans
Reliance Agro Chemicals Have future plan to Develop SEED procurement & production as well as marketing in Indian States includes Grains, oil , & vegetables.

Company have also plan to start to manufacturing Pesticide with an associate in all the State because of cost cutting in transportation and production. The First manufacturing started in Madhya Pradesh.
